Stanley Access Technologies Acquires Action Door Controls

Stanley Access Technologies is pleased to announce the acquisition of Action Door Controls
located in Bluffdale, Utah (Salt Lake City area). Founded in 1988 by Ron and Darnell Crapo,
Action Door Controls joined the Access Technologies distribution network in 2003. Action
Door Controls is the premier provider of door automation in Utah, Western Wyoming as well
as Eastern Idaho. The current owners and management team of Ron and Chad Crapo have
grown the business through their extraordinary passion for customer service and quality.
The employees of Action Door Controls are some of the best in the industry and are the
primary reason for Action’s leadership position in the markets served.

The integration process will begin in September. Ron Crapo will assist in the transition then
he has decided to retire in order to have more time to enjoy some travel, his grandchildren,
and family. Chad Crapo will continue to run the business from the present location reporting
to John Shafer through the integration process. We couldn’t be more proud to have such a
prestigious organization join the Stanley Access Technologies family.
